Learning Through Tradition

Mrs. Milne joined Mrs. Mager’s Grade 3 class to share the importance of the bear in Indigenous culture and traditions. Students learned about bear fat and how it is traditionally used on gifted drums to help maintain them. The class then practiced caring for the drums by respectfully applying bear grease to them.
