Exploring and appreciating nature through Indigenous teachings with Ms. Milne

We spent a beautiful day in the forest near Gimli with Winnipeg Beach School and Sigurbjorg Stefansson Early School, together with Mrs. Thordarson’s, Mrs. Svienson’s, Mrs. Mager’s, and Mrs. Casper’s classes. The morning was filled with a cross community forest adventure, exploring and appreciating nature through Indigenous teachings with Ms. Milne. We ended the day in celebration by sharing bannock the classes had made and enjoying berries together.
