Evergreen Staff Spotlight

🌟 Celebrating the People Who Make Our Schools Work 🌟

Meet Nathan Bostick – IT Support Technician

For the past 12 years, Nathan Bostick has been keeping Evergreen’s classrooms connected and running smoothly. What began as a technical role has grown into something much more meaningful: a way to empower teachers and students through reliable, seamless technology. “Supporting education wasn’t a career path I actively pursued—it found me,” Nathan says. “Over time, I realized the impact I was making behind the scenes, and that sense of contribution is something I wouldn’t trade for anything.”

Behind the scenes, Nathan supports over 800 devices for more than 200 staff members and 1,200+ students across 10 locations. His work isn’t just about fixing tech glitches—it’s about safeguarding data, ensuring smooth operations, and making sure educators can focus on teaching without worrying about their tools. “When everything runs smoothly, it’s easy to forget the infrastructure behind it,” he explains. “That’s where I come in.”

Some of Nathan’s most memorable moments are when his quick troubleshooting saves the day. “Getting a laptop running just before a big presentation and hearing, ‘I don’t know what I would’ve done without you’—that’s when it hits me,” he says. “It’s not just about fixing devices. It’s about enabling teachers to teach without disruption and keeping the focus on students.”

What Nathan loves most about Evergreen is the people. “From day one, I’ve felt welcomed, supported, and truly appreciated—not just for the work I do, but for who I am.”

He also wants the public to know that education is a team effort. “Every role matters,” Nathan emphasizes. “From bus routes and clean schools, to working tech and classroom support, everyone is working tirelessly to create the best possible experience for students. It’s not just a job—it’s a shared mission.”

Thank you, Nathan, for your expertise, dedication, and for being the quiet force that keeps Evergreen learning moving forward.
