Last night’s Board meeting showcased the powerful learning happening across Evergreen.

📚 Principal Crystal MacDonald shared an inspiring overview of Instructional Leadership at SSES, highlighting the intentional practices supporting student success.

🧡 Indigenous Education Consultant Kelly Milne, Student Services Teacher Kelly Croy, and Interventions Teacher Kim Angus presented Equity through Structured Literacy: Empowering Indigenous Students. Their passion and the stories they shared deeply resonated with the Board.

🌟 Trustee Kohler noted that the quality of learning in Evergreen was clearly reflected in both presentations.

💬 Trustee Davies echoed a meaningful message from the team: “When people are supported, they shine!”

📈 Trustee Auer celebrated SSES’s Middle of Year DIBELS results—78% of students met benchmark!

👨‍👩‍👧 Trustee Helgason highlighted the heartwarming parent success stories shared by Kelly, Kelly, and Kim, and quoted Superintendent Hill: “We are delivering on our promises.”
