This fall, our Grade 1 classes at SSES explored pumpkins from every angle — building knowledge step by step and celebrating their learning together.

Students:
 📝 Sketched and labelled their pumpkins
📏 Measured and learned about circumference
 🔍 Compared attributes and made predictions
 📚 Researched the pumpkin life cycle
 🧪 Investigated what’s inside a pumpkin
 🧁 And wrapped it all up by becoming little bakers and making delicious pumpkin muffins!

So much rich learning packed into one seasonal study — and so much excitement along the way! 🍁🧡
