In our science unit on soils, students became explorers — collecting sand from the beach, clay from the pond, and loam from the forest.

They compared each soil type to learn how it supports life in different ways, while also deepening their understanding of our connection and responsibility to the land through Indigenous perspectives. 🌱🤝
