Welcome, AEMS families, to the 2026-2027 school year!
Welcome to Arborg Early/Middle School! We are a Kindergarten to grade 6 school that educates 190 students and is supported by 34 staff.
My name is Jessica Vandersteen, and I am honoured and excited to serve another year as principal at AEMS. I am beginning my 11th year in Evergreen School Division, serving in a variety of roles as a classroom teacher, student services teacher, and administrator.
One of the things I’ve always been most proud of is the incredible support the Arborg community shows for one another. That same spirit of care and dedication is alive and well within our school. Evergreen School Division believes in the following vision and mission statements, learning today to improve tomorrow, and engaging students in learning to become contributing citizens of a democratic society. The staff at AEMS are deeply committed to the vision and mission statements above by engaging students in meaningful and enriching learning experiences each day. We support our students not only with their academic growth, but also with their social and emotional well-being by encouraging them to explore, take risks, and celebrate their successes in a safe and caring environment.
