Last month, Elder Kunsi Dianne Cross and Indigenous Education Consultant Kelly Milne led a sacred fire in recognition of Red Dress Day, honouring Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit people (MMIWG2S), their families, and communities.

We are grateful for the opportunity to gather in reflection and remembrance. Evergreen School Division remains committed to truth, reconciliation, and creating safe, inclusive spaces for all.
