Evergreen is very proud of Indigenous Education consultant / Intervention Teacher, Kelly Milne, and SLP, Britney Morrish for their presentation at the Indspire conference, ‘Equity through Structured Literacy: Empowering Indigenous Students’. 12% more Indigenous students in Evergreen were reading at grade level at the end of year than at the beginning of year in 2023/2024 because of the structured literacy efforts of teachers, intervention teachers, and clinicians!
