Fieldstone Ventures Adult Learner Centre, Gimli Site

We are now accepting registrations for the 2022-2023 school year!

The Centre is located at the Evergreen Technology and Education Centre, 234 Tudor Lane in the Gimli Industrial Park.

The program provides a continuous intake so adult learners can work at their own pace.  Fit learning into your busy life! Study full time or part time at the Centre, or in the comfort of your home. Upgrade your skills or take all the courses needed for a Mature Student Diploma.

 

The Centre is open:

Wednesdays:  9:00 am – 3:30 pm

An instructor is available on Wednesdays to assist learners with their course work.  Courses are designed so that learners can work in the comfort of their home outside of scheduled class hours.

What is the mature high school diploma program?

The mature high school diploma program is designed for mature students (19 years of age or older and out of school a minimum of six months) seeking a Manitoba Department of Education recognized high school diploma.

A mature student diploma requires a grade 12 English, a grade 12 Mathematics, and two other grade 12 courses and four additional courses from grade 9-12.  Students may already have completed previous courses for credit toward the program.

Is there a registration fee?

There is a $35 annual registration fee.  You can complete more than one course at no extra cost.

If you don't finish your courses by the end of June, you can re-register in September and pick up where you left off.

Letters of sponsorship will be accepted in cases where an agency or institution is paying the fees.

Students should bring a transcript from their previous school.
